Me and dog and luggage – Mexico City airport to Acapulco ? Got friends that wanna help ??
I fly into Mexico City airport with my rather large Doberman Pincher. Because of his size and the aircraft going into Acapulco my only choice is by ground. Anotherwards he is so big that his travel kennel will only fit on a 757 and that size aircraft does not fly into Acapulco. How do I get all this ‘”STUFF” from Mexico City to Acapulco via Taxi or ground transportation ??
They have plenty of taxis there that will be willing to take it. Why do you need to bring your dog with you? Why not put him in a kennel for the vacation or with somebody you trust until you get back?
Acapulco is an excellent city. I’m not sure that your dog will be welcome, though. It’s highly unusual. Good luck!

my sister and i are going to mexico city this june but we are first going to use a bus to Monterrey and so i wanted to know what kind of transportation can we use to get to the airport that is SAFE
also i wanted to know can we use our passport card to travel on the plane and is there any thing else we need for the airport.
also we are going to stay at Embassy Suites by Hilton Mexico City – Reforma and i wanted to know what kind of transportation we can use to get to basilica de guadalupe and back to the hotel but also SAFELY
Take a taxi to the airport in Monterrey from wherever you are in Monterrey. Or use an airport shuttle from the hotel.
By passport card do you mean passport? You have to show your passport to even get on the plane. From the hotel you can take a taxi to the basilica. The hotel staff in both Monterrey and Mexico will set your taxi up for you. If you wish you can set it up so the same taxi driver who takes you to the basilica will also pick you up and take you back to your hotel.
While Mexico is a very violent and crime ridden country Monterrey and Mexico City are two of the safest cities. I do recommend you not go in public with a lot of valuable items. Be careful with your purse and camera and wallet as there are a lot of pickpockets in places like the basilica in Mexico City. If you set something down and take your eyes off it a second it might sprout legs and run away.
